Green oases & popular meeting places
In the lovingly cared for green areas of the Erding tourist region young and old meet for a stroll, a chat, to play with their children or to walk or jog. Popular meeting places are our market and town squares. Surrounded by a backdrop of historical facades you can relax in one of the cafes or restaurant terraces, as your heart desires.
The Erding town park is located close to the centre of town, an oasis of peace and quiet with many charming places where you can spend time on the banks of the river Sempt, climb the Ladder to Heaven (a viewing tower), stroll along the art trail or jog the short jogging track and exert yourself on the keep-fit trail. There’s Celtic adventure play area, Weniadunum, and a petting zoo for children.
