Gorgeously grand – the castles in the Erding tourist region

Fraunberg Castle, one of Bavaria‘s oldest moated castles, lies in the county of Erding. As is the case with all the castles in the Erding tourist region this castle is also privately owned and can only be viewed from the outside. The castles offer a brief closer look when they are being used for cultural events or serve as locations for festivals, celebrations and numerous other events.
